How to grill vegetables?
I know that sounds silly.
But it’s an easy, foolproof way to grill some of your favorite veggies for a fantastic grilled meatball.
This is a recipe for grilled onions, peppers, and tomatoes, and the best part is that you can make them at home too.
These grilled veggies will make your kitchen smell heavenly.
Just be sure to rinse the vegetables thoroughly after using them.
The cooking time is a matter of minutes, so don’t worry about waiting.
Just grill them until the veggies are cooked through.
I usually grill them in a cast iron skillet, but you can grill them over a grill, or over a pot of boiling water.
You can also grill them for longer in the oven.
I grill them at 350°F for about 15 minutes, but if you want to grill them longer, you can always use a grill pan.
The more time you give them to cook, the longer they’ll last.
This recipe is for grilled veggies.
If you’re going to grill onions and peppers, they’ll need a longer cooking time than those two veggies.
The tomatoes will need a little more time to soften.
To make them more tender, I add a few teaspoons of olive oil and a little bit of salt to the vegetables.
If the veggies aren’t soft yet, I cook them for another 10 minutes to soften them.
After about 15 to 20 minutes, the vegetables should be soft enough to eat.
If not, they’re done and ready to grill.
I like to grill the onions, but they’re even better if you grill them first.
Once the vegetables are done, I flip them over and grill them another 10 to 15 minutes until they’re nicely browned.
Serve these grilled veggies with some chopped cilantro, red onion, and a few fresh parsley leaves.
