Green vegetables are the perfect vegetable for your cooking.
This recipe from Food52 shows you how to make a carton recipe from your favorite green veggies.
It also includes how to add a splash of lime juice to your carton.
1 tablespoon olive oil 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced (or 1/4 cup of chopped parsley) 1/2 teaspoon sea salt, plus more to taste 2 cups fresh spinach leaves, washed, quartered 1 large onion, diced 1 cup cilantro, chopped 1 cup parsley leaves, chopped (or 3/4 of a small lemon) 2 cups water, or more if needed 1/3 cup coconut oil, plus or minus more to your taste 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon (or more to you taste) 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1/16 teaspoon cayenne pepper (or to taste) 3 cups water 1/7 teaspoon lemon zest (or less to taste), plus more if necessary 1/10 cup chopped fresh parsnips (or 2 large handfuls) 1.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add garlic and ginger, and sauté until soft.
Add spinach leaves and onion, then cook for about 5 minutes.
Add parsley and cilantro and cook for another 5 minutes or until wilted.
Add water if needed to make the mixture thicker.
Stir in coconut oil.
Cook for another 2 minutes, or until the mixture is thick and creamy.
Add lime juice and salt.
Serve with fresh green veggies, like carrots, celery, broccoli, or green beans.

Pour the mixture into a cartomizer and cook on high for 30 seconds to one minute.
Stir.
Serve over fresh-cut green vegetables like spinach, lettuce, or tomato, or with other toppings like fresh herbs or cheese.

To make the liquid, place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend on high until you have a smooth creamy mixture.
Transfer to a glass jar or glass container and store in the refrigerator.
