A lot of us have a plate of noodles in the corner of our kitchen at least once a week, and it can be hard to tell what’s going on when a dish comes up.
Here’s how to get a vegetable plater without actually cooking anything.
1.
Use your fork to mash vegetables.
The easiest way to do this is to mash a few vegetables together with your fork.
You can also chop your vegetables in the food processor, which will take a couple of seconds to work.
2.
Take a knife and slice the vegetables in half.
Take your knife and scrape out any bits that stick to the sides.
3.
Using a vegetable peeler, cut out a thin slice of the vegetable.
This will make it easier to remove the skin and slice through the remaining skin.
4.
Chop the vegetables into small pieces.
This step may seem difficult, but if you’re not using your knife or a vegetable knife, you can use a vegetable chopstick to make this easier.
5.
Cut out a slice of cucumber.
This is where you’ll want to keep the slices in a freezer.
You’ll want a little space between each slice, so the cucumber will fit in between the slices.
6.
Once the cucumbers are cut, cut them into pieces.
If you want to eat the whole cucumber, you’ll have to take a slice out, but that’s ok, since it’s the only part of the cucurbit you’ll need to eat.
7.
Take out the pieces of cucurbits.
This part is optional.
But since we’re using a vegetable slice, we can skip it. 8.
Mix the ingredients together and then put them in a blender or food processor.
The vegetable juice is what will make the vegetables taste good, so mix the vegetables with a little of the juice from the blender or processor.
Blend until the vegetable juice thickens and you’ve got a nice thick vegetable.
9.
Heat a small frying pan over medium heat.
When it starts to shimmer, turn the heat to medium high.
Fry for 3 minutes.
Flip and fry for 2 minutes.
You want to make sure that the veggies are crisp when they get hot, so don’t let them burn.
You may also want to let the vegetables cool completely before putting them in the blender.
Once they’re hot, add them to the hot pan.
10.
When the vegetables are done cooking, remove them from the pan and let them cool completely.
They’ll keep for about a day.
11.
To serve, simply slice the slices up and top with the veggies.
You could also slice the cucurbits and then top with a small salad of veggies and a slice or two of cucumbers.
It’s easy, healthy, and delicious.
